Star Gold Thrills Removed by DD Free Dish
Jio Star Network has discontinued its English dubbed movie channel “Star Gold Thrills” from the Direct to Home DTH operator DD Free Dish by following the order of TDSAT. Orders have been issued by TDSAT that no pay category channel can be shown on DD Free Dish, so that all customers are treated equally and if any broadcaster wants to telecast its channel on DD Free Dish then it has to make the channel as Free to Air FTA for all DPOs.
Star Gold Thrills was available in DD Free Dish at channel number 50. From 17th February onwards, Star Gold Thrills channel shows a black screen with only DD Free Dish logo and later they are going to be replaced with colour bars and vacant Test Slot. You can still watch Star Gold Thrills on Dish TV, d2h, Tata Play, Airtel DTH, etc at an ala carte price of Rs.2/- per month.
