Manoranjan TV and Manoranjan Grand won slots in DD Free Dish 75th e-auction
Prasar Bharati’s Direct to Home DTH service ” DD Free Dish” has given two slots on day one of the ongoing 75th e-auction for MPEG-2 slots of the DD Free Dish DTH platform. The slots are allotted from April 1st, 2024, to March 31st, 2025. According to the Exchange for Media (E4M) Report confirmed that on Day 1 of the Free Dish auction, only two Hindi general entertainment channels secured the slots for Rs 21.25 crore and Rs 21.15 crore, respectively, in the Bucket A+ (Hindi GEC) category.
As per report, both DD Free Dish slots have been secured by Manoranjan TV Group for its general entertainment channels such as Manoranjan TV and Manoranjan Grand. The reserve price for Bucket A+ General Entertainment Channels (GEC) – Hindi or Urdu was fixed at Rs 15 crore. The e-auction began on Monday evening and will continue today as well. As per the information, other popular Hindi general entertainment channels like Dangal, Shemaroo Group also trying to won the slos.
