9X Jhakaas added on DD Free Dish
9X Media’s renowned Marathi music channel ‘9X Jhakaas‘ participated in the 93rd e-auction of Prasar Bharati’s free DTH service DD Free Dish, in which after winning the slot, the channel has gone live on MPEG4 set top boxes.
DD Free Dish has given free mpeg4 slots to regional language channels under a pilot project, in which not only Marathi but also Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali etc. channels have been added such as R Plus, R Plus Gold, Kolkata TV, ABP Majha, Mazhavil Manorama, Kanak News, etc.
To watch 9X Jhakaas and other new channels, you must have an MPEG4 set-top box. If you have an older MPEG2 box, you’ll need to replace it.
