Is Voot App to telecast IPL 2023-27
Recently, BCCI did an auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023-2027 Broadcasting Rights which is won by Disney Star India Pvt. Ltd. and Viacom 18 Private Limited. Again Star Sports channels will telecast IPL for another next 5 years but what about Disney+ Hotstar Digital rights? Is the Disney+ Hotstar app will telecast IPL or not? Because many customers are now using smartphones and smart TVs.
As we told that Disney Star India won IPL Satellite TV rights at 23,575 Crore for the next 5 years and Viacom 18 won Digital rights for the next 5 years at 20,000 crores. Now it’s clear that IPL 2023-27 Digitally will be telecast on “Voot App” or some other new app which is not yet been revealed by the Broadcaster. The Voot app comes with a 299/- annual subscription which is cheaper than Disney+ Hotstar app plans.
