Sports18 Khel to Rebrand as Star Sports Khel
JioStar Network is planning to soon rebrand its Free to Air FTA Hindi sports channel “Sports18 Khel” and give it a new name. As you all know, Jio and Disney Star used to be separate identities but a few months ago Reliance Jio and Disney Star India merged with each other. The result of this merger is that they want to keep only one name Star in the identity of the sports channel and want to close the Sports 18 brand.
According to the news received from sources, JioStar has applied for a new trademark and it has been decided to change the name of Sports 18 Khel to “Star Sports Khel“. As soon as the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) gives approval, JioStar will change the logo and name of the Sports18 Khel channel to Star Sports Khel.
Sports18 Khel channel is currently available on DD Free Dish and Dish TV DTH platforms. Sports18 Khel is a Free to Air FTA channel, so everyone can enjoy Free of Cost.
