Star Sports 4K added on Tata Play and Airtel DTH
Star Sports Network, the official broadcaster of Tata IPL 2024, is ready to give a brilliant experience to its customers with the launch of the “Star Sports 4K” service channel for the Direct to Home DTH operator “Tata Play” and “Airtel Digital TV” subscribers. This Tata IPL, Star Sports has played a pivotal role, leveraging cutting-edge technology, with the launch of a 4K service channel (VAS) named “Star 4K” which will be available for subscription to Tata Play and Airtel Digital TV subscribers for 59/- & 99/- per month respectively.
Additionally, with a focus on interactivity, Star Sports has associated with Tata Play DTH to elevate viewer engagement during this year’s Tata IPL season, introducing special features, Star Sports R.E.D. (Relive, Engage, Decode), accessible at the click of a button on Star Sports channels.
Star Sports 4K service channel is only available in 4K supported boxes and customers must have a 4K Ultra HD smart TV to enjoy the IPL experience in 4K. Tata Play has a “Tata Play Binge Plus” (Android 4K) set-top box and Airtel has an “Airtel Xtream 4K” box for the Star Sports 4K channel.
To watch Star Sports 4K on Tata Play, tune into channel number 109 and Airtel DTH on channel number 276. This channel is a value-added service channel so the customer has to pay 59/- in Tata Play and 99/- in Airtel DTH to view this channel per month.
