Thanthi One added by Tata Play

Dina Thanthi newspaper group, one of the largest Tamil language newspapers in India already runs a popular Tamil-language news channel based in Chennai, India named “Thanthi TV“. Thanthi TV broadcasts news, current affairs, and other programs in Tamil, catering to the audience in Tamil Nadu and Tamil-speaking populations worldwide. Now they entered the Tamil entertainment category with the launch of another new channel from its network named “Thanthi One“. This channel is running transmission from Intelsat 17 at 66 degree east C Band satellite as Free to Air FTA channel. Now they signed an agreement with the Direct to Home DTH operator “Tata Play” to launch the channel.

To watch the Thanthi One channel on Tata Play, tune into channel number 1537 respectively. This channel is Free to Air FTA so it will be part of all the basic Packages without any extra charges. Thanthi One channel is also available on Airtel Digital TV.
