All Cable Operators removed Zee-Sony Star and Viacom18 channels
India’s Largest Cable TV operators such as Fastway, DEN, GTPL, KCCL, NXT Digital, Kerala Vision, etc. have refused to sign the new agreement put out by the four big Broadcasters. Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Sony Pictures Networks, Indiacast, and Disney Star India Pvt. Ltd Channels have been removed from Set Top Box and some of them show information regarding TRAI New Tariff order and price hike. All major Cable platforms did not sign the fresh agreement of NTO 2.0 as a protest against the price hike of channels.
After this issue, many Cable TV customers are missing their favourite programs and serials due to unavailability of paid entertainment channels such as Zee TV, Star Plus, &TV, Sony, Sony Sab, Colors, etc. Many Cable TV operators receive around 3000+ calls from the customers regarding this problem and cable tv operators are not able to help them. As of now, they have not revealed how much time it will take to resume the channel services for customers.
