DD Free Dish 70 e Auction date announced
DD Free Dish is a free-to-air direct-to-home (DTH) service provided by Doordarshan, a public broadcaster in India. It allows users to access a variety of television channels without any monthly subscription fees. DD Free Dish uses MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 digital compression technology for broadcasting and offers a mix of regional, national, and international channels. Today we will discuss DD Free Dish 70 e Auction which is going to be held on the 4th of July 2023.
DD Free Dish invited applications for allotment of vacant MPEG-2 slots for the period from 11th of July to 31st of March 2024 through 70th online pro-rate basis e-Auction. The e-Auction is going to start on the 4th of July and Interested Broadcasters have only the option to submit applications before July 3rd at 3 PM. As of Now, DD Free Dish only has 1 vacant slot in MPEG-2 Frequency.
To receive DD Free Dish, users need to install a small dish antenna and a set-top box compatible with the service. The set-top box is used to tune in to the available channels and decode the broadcast signals. DD Free Dish provides a range of channels across different genres, including news, entertainment, sports, movies, music, and more.
