DD Sports HD channel Testing on GSAT-30 C Band

DD Sports is a sports TV channel in India that is part of the Doordarshan network. It is owned by the public service broadcaster Prasar Bharati and is known for broadcasting a variety of sports events, including cricket, football, hockey, and more. Now finally they are ready to launch its High Definition HD feed of the channel named “DD Sports HD” which has already started testing from GSAT-10/30 at 83 degree east C Band Satellite on Transponder Frequency: 3284, Polarization: Horizontal (H), Symbol Rate: 30000.

Currently, the DD Sports HD channel is showing old sports content with a Testing Symbol at the bottom. DD Sports official Twitter account updated about the launch date of DD Sports HD channel. Prasar Bharati decided to launch the channel from the 2nd of September 2023 onwards on the special occasion of Asia Cup 2023 so viewers can experience the match in high-definition HD quality. DD Sports HD will be available exclusively for DD Free Dish subscribers.
