MTV Beats is going to shut down
It has been decided to shut down MTV Beats, the most popular Hindi music channel of JioStar Network. The biggest reason for the lack of music channels in India is the availability of YouTube and other platforms where the easiest way to listen to songs and people’s inclination towards watching music channels on TV is decreasing day by day. According to sources, MTV Beats and 11 other channels will be shut down by JioStar from April 1, 2025.
MTV Beats available on All Major Direct to Home DTH and Cable TV platforms including Dish TV, d2h, Tata Play, Airtel DTH, Sun Direct, DEN, Fastway, GTPL, etc. MTV Beats and MTV Beats HD will be dropped from all DPO’s starting 1st April.
