Prasar Bharti’s Direct to Home DTH service “DD Free Dish” added New Gujarati News Channel “Sandesh News” on its DTH platform for MPEG-4 Set Top Box Subscribers. As per the information, DD Free Dish was held 88th pro-rate e Auction for MPEG-4 frequency vacant slots and Sandesh News channel won the slots for the period of 13th June to 31st of March 2026.
If you want to watch the Sandesh News channel on DD Free Dish, you must have an MPEG-4 set top box. The MPEG-4 set top box gives you more channels than mpeg2.
