Sports18 3 to Rebrand as Star Sports 2 Tamil
JioStar Network has started preparations to rebrand the English sports channel Sports 18 3. Jio Star says that it wants to expand its regional language sports channels, so it is going to rebrand it and give it a new name Star Sports 2 Tamil. Recently, it has also got approval from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to rebrand, Sports 18 3 channel as Star Sports 2 Tamil from 15th March 2025.
Star Sports 2 Tamil will be available on all major Direct to Home DTH and cable TV platforms from channel 15th March 2025 which previously had Sports 18 3 channel. Apart from this, Star Sports 2 Tamil HD is also going to be officially launched by JioStar from March 15.
