Star and Viacom18 get Satellite and Digital Rights of IPL 2023-27
Finally, the Indian Premier League IPL 2023-2027 Broadcaster Rights Auction was completed on Monday and this time BCCI sold Telecast rights to two different broadcasters. Disney Star India Pvt. Ltd. Again got Satellite rights for the next five years while Digital Rights are sold to Reliance Viacom 18 Pvt. Ltd.
Disney Star paid 23,575 Crore to win Satellite Broadcasting rights and Viacom18 paid 20,500 Crore to get Digital Streaming Rights and BCCI received 44,075 Crores from Both Broadcasters. After this, Disney Star India will pay 57.50 Crore per match. IPL 2023-27 will be telecasted on Star Sports Channels and Digitally on Voot App and Jio.
