Star India to Launch Vijay Takkar channel on 9 Oct

Disney Star India Private Limited is all set to launch another Tamil movie or Entertainment channel “Vijay Takkar” with effect from the 9th of October 2022 as per the Broadcaster announcement notice. Already star India running four Tamil channels from its portfolio named “Star Vijay“, (Tamil General Entertainment), “Star Vijay HD” (Tamil General Entertainment HD), “Star Vijay Super” (Tamil Movies), and “Star Vijay Music” (Tamil Music) channel. Now another channel is going to launch for the Tamilnadu audience.

Once Star Vijay Takkar is launched, it will be available for All Major Direct to Home DTH and Cable TV Subscribers such as Dish TV (ST-2), d2h, Tata Play, Airtel Digital TV, and Sun Direct. Disney star India decided to launch the Vijay Takkar channel in place of Star Vijay Music as they are not getting TRP’s so the Vijay Music channel is going to shut down from 8th October 2022 at midnight and Vijay Takkar will launch at the same place.
