Star Sports First to Rebrand as Star Sports 2 Kannada

JioStar Network has announced that it is going to rebrand its existing Hindi sports channel “Star Sports First” and launch it as a new sports channel from 16th February 2025. According to the sources, Star Sports First will be changed from Hindi language to Kannada language respectively.

DTH operators and cable operators will also be instructed to change the channel number of Star Sports First channel from the main Sports Genre to Kannada regional genre after February 16th. Because after a few months, the name of the “Star Sports First” channel will be changed to “Star Sports 2 Kannada” and the trademark has also been applied by JioStar.
