Republic Network to Launch Republic Kannada Channel

Arnab Goswami is a News anchor and journalist, who is the managing director and editor-in-chief of Republic Media Network and is planning to expand its Channels portfolio with the launch of another News channel named “Republic Kannada” for Karnataka Viewers. Republic Network already runs other channels in different languages and it started its First satellite television channel named “Republic TV” as an English Free to Air FTA News Channel in May 2017 later it launched another two channels in Hindi and Bengali Language.

Republic Network runs Republic TV (English), Republic Bharat (Hindi), and Republic Bangla (Bengali) and now they applied for a Trademark for the upcoming channel “Republic Kannada” to get registered. Once the logo is approved by the Government of India then they will apply for a satellite TV license at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting MIB to start Satellite Transmission on C Band Satellite. Republic Network still not informed that how much time it will take to launch this channel but it’s confirmed that once the channel is Launched then it will be available as a Free to Air FTA channel to reach a larger number of Karnataka audiences.
