Viacom18 to Launch Sports18 Hindi and Sports18 Hindi HD

Viacom18 Private Limited is planning to launch 2 More New Sports channels in both SD and HD versions after the successful launches of Sports18 1, Sports18 1 HD and Sports18 Khel channels. As per sources, the broadcaster is launching both New sports channels for Dedicated Hindi Language audiences named “Sports18 Hindi” and “Sports18 Hindi HD“.

Currently, the broadcaster applied Sports18 Hindi and Sports18 Hindi HD channel for a trademark to get registered and launch 2 more new channels from its portfolio. Once they got registered by Govt. of India, the broadcaster may start its Test Transmission on Intelsat 20 at 68.5 east.

If we compare it with other broadcasters then already Disney Star India runs a Dedicated Hindi sports channel with name “Star Sports 1 Hindi” and on another side, Sony Sports Network has a “Sony Ten 3” channel for Hindi Audience.
