DD Free Dish 67 e Auction date announced

Prasar Bharati invites applications for allotment of vacant MPEG-2 slots of DD Free Dish DTH Platform for the period from 1st of April 2023 to 31st of March 2024 through 67 online e- auction process to be tentatively held from 13th March 2023 onwards. The e-auction will be conducted in accordance with e-auction Methodology for allotment of DD Free Dish slots to private TV channels, notified by Prasar Bharati on 27 January 2023 which is available on the website. http://prasarbharati.gov.in. As per conditions, only satellite channels are licensed by the Ministry of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting MIB would be allowed to participate in the e-auction. Only companies holding valid permission from the Ministry of I&B can apply for participation in e-auction for allocation of DD Free Dish slots.

In this 67 e Auction, DD Free Dish gives a chance to every genre and category to take participation in Mpeg2 slots such as Hindi GEC, Movies, News, Sports, Lifestyle as well as some regional languages in Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya etc. This time they also invited Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam channels to participate in the newly launched R1 Bucket.
