DD Sports 1.0 Removed by Dish TV

Prasar Bharati’s Live Sports Event Feed channel “DD Sports 1.0” has been removed from the Direct to Home DTH platform “Dish TV“. This channel feed is launched only for DD Free Dish viewers because All Private DTH and Cable TV operators complain to Trai that if any Important Sports event comes as Free on DD Sports for all viewers then how will the customer subscribe to any paid sports channel? It’s better to remove this Feed during any sports event from the private DTH platforms and replace it with DD Sports 2.0 channel.

DD Sports 1.0 was added on Dish TV as well as on all other private DTH platforms for India’s Tour of New Zealand Cricket Series 2022 which was held on the 18th of November now the series has been completed so the Channel has been removed from the private DTH platforms as per supreme court orders. DD Sports 1.0 was available on Dish TV on channel number 640 Free of Cost for all subscribers.
