NDTV plans to launch 9 New Channels in India

NDTV, Adani Group Founder and Chairman Gautam Adani said “The Adani Group is privileged to further bolster NDTV with world-class infrastructure and talent and transform NDTV into a thriving multi-platform global news organization and now we are ready to expand our channels portfolio with the launch of 9 New NDTV Channels. The company’s board of directors has approved a proposal to seek permission from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) to start new channels.

NDTV already has NDTV India (Hindi National News), NDTV 24×7 (English National News), and NDTV Profit Prime (English Business News). Now they are applied for trademarks of another nine new News channels such as “NDTV Rajasthan”, “NDTV Malayalam”, “NDTV Madhya Pradesh Chattisgarh”, “NDTV Gujarat”, “NDTV Maharashtra”, “NDTV Tamil”, “NDTV Kannada”, “NDTV Telugu”, and “NDTV Bangla“. Once they got a license from MIB then they will sign an agreement with Distribution platforms.
