DD Free Dish should remove this 4 Hindi Channels?

DD Free Dish is a free-to-air direct-to-home (DTH) television service provided by Prasar Bharati, which is the public service broadcaster of India. It was launched in December 2004 and offers a wide range of television channels to viewers across India. DD Free Dish is known for its affordability and extensive channel lineup, making it a popular choice among viewers who are looking for free-to-air channels. It uses the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 digital compression technology for broadcasting and requires a compatible set-top box and dish antenna to receive the signals.

The service offers various channels in different languages, including Hindi, English, regional languages, and even some international channels. These channels cover a wide range of genres, such as news, entertainment, sports, movies, music, and more but today we will discuss about four Hindi channels that are not useful for DD Free Dish audiences and should be removed from the platform.

Here are the channel names such as “Manoranjan TV”, “Manoranjan Prime”, “Manoranjan Grand” and “Movie Plus” which are available on DD Free Dish in MPEG-2 slots but not showing any good content on it. Every time they are showing some animated videos on Manoranjan Network channels and Movie Plus shows 18+ Advertisements in both Morning and Evening slots which is not suitable for children. Manoranjan TV Group participated in DD Free Dish in A+ Category (Hindi GEC), and A (Movies) Category but they are violating DD Free Dish policy because they are not running any Entertainment shows or Movie content. If the channel has all valid documents then DD Free Dish does not have rights to remove any channel because the broadcaster won the slot and they paid high amount to be available on DD Free Dish.

DD Free Dish has gained popularity in India due to its affordability and the availability of free-to-air channels. It has provided access to television entertainment for viewers who may not have been able to afford paid cable or satellite services. However, it’s important to note that DD Free Dish does not provide access to premium or pay channels, as it is a free-to-air service but some free-to-air channels not showing content as per their DD Free Dish Bucket slots.
