DD Free Dish 69 e-Auction on 18th May 2023

DD Free Dish is a free-to-air direct-to-home (DTH) service provided by Prasar Bharati, India’s public service broadcaster. It offers a wide range of television channels without any subscription fee. To allocate slots to broadcasters on the DD Free Dish platform, Prasar Bharati conducts periodic e-auctions to give vacant MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 slots to the interested channels. Recently Prasar Bharati announced the 69th online pro-rate basis e-Auction for vacant MPEG-4 slots which is going to be held on the 18th of May 2023.

This time DD Free Dish has only one vacant slot in MPEG-4 Frequency because recently News State Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand channel has been removed from DD Free Dish due to the non-renewal of an agreement. Now the broadcaster has the option to get a slot in DD Free Dish and earn huge revenue from advertisements. If any new channel wins the slot then it will be available for the period of 25th of May 2023 to 31st of March 2023.
