Sports18 to show Fifa World Cup 2022 with Hindi Commentary

Viacom18 Private Limited’s Newly Launched Sports Channels “Sports18 1” and “Sports18 1 HD” is the official broadcaster to telecast the “Fifa World Cup 2022” Sports event with effect from 20th of November 2022 Onwards. Both channels are available in English but if we talk about Hindi Channel then Viacom18 doesn’t have any sports Channels in the Hindi Language except “Sports18 Khel” which is launched only for re-run sports events. Viacom 18 has not yet received the license to launch Sports18 1 Hindi so they decided to add a “Hindi Audio” Feed on the existing Sports18 1 channel.

Now every subscriber can enjoy Fifa World Cup 2022 in both English and Hindi Commentary on Sports18 1 and MTV HD channel. Viacom18 added Hindi Language Feed on Sports18 1 (Standard Definition) channel and informed all Direct to Home DTH and Cable TV operators to add a Hindi feed on the channel. Sports18 1 is available on All Paid DTH and Cable TV platforms such as Dish TV, d2h, Tata Play, Airtel Digital TV, and Sun Direct or MTV HD available only on Tata Play.
