Star Sports 1 added Malayalam and Bengali Audio Feed

Star Sports 1 is an English-language sports television channel owned by Disney Star India Private Limited. It is a part of the Star Sports network and is primarily dedicated to broadcasting live cricket matches and other sports-related content in India. The channel has exclusive broadcasting rights for many major cricket tournaments such as the Indian Premier League (IPL), International Cricket Council (ICC) events, and bilateral cricket series featuring the Indian cricket team. In addition to cricket, Star Sports 1 also broadcasts football, kabaddi, tennis, and other sports events. Recently Star India added Malayalam and Bengali Audio Language Feeds in Star Sports 1 channel for Regional audiences due IPL 2023 season going on.

Star Sports 1 is an English Sports channel but till IPL 2023, Subscribers can also enjoy Commentary in Malayalam and Bengali. All DTH and Cable TV operators added both audio feeds on Star Sports 1 channel and customers need to press the Language or Audio Button on the remote to change the audio feed. Recently Star India shut down the Star Sports 1 Bangla channel, so they decided to add Bangla audio language feed for West Bengal and Malayalam Feed for Kerala Viewers.
