DD Free Dish 66 e-Auction date announced
Prasar Bharati invites applications for allotment of all MPEG-4 slots of the DD Free Dish platform for the period from 1st of April 2023 to 31st of March 2024 through the 5th annual e-auction process 66 e-auction to be tentatively held from 16th of February 2023 onwards. The e-auction will be conducted by policy guidelines for allotment of DD Free Dish slots and as amended from time to time which is available on the website, http://prasarbharati.gov.in
Only satellite channels licensed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting MIB would be allowed to participate in the 66th e-auction. Only companies holding valid permission from the Ministry of I&B can apply for participation in an e-auction for the allocation of the DD Free Dish slot. International Public Broadcasters licensed by the Ministry of I&B can also participate in e-auctions. Bidding in the e-auction of MPEG-4 slots will be open to all genre (language) Channels at a reserve price of Rs. 50 Lakhs per annum (1 Year). Any channel that won the slot will be available from 1st April 2023 on All DD Free Dish MPEG-4 Set Top Boxes.
